Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew Ingredients needed:

For the Cold Brew Coffee and the Salted Caramel Cream:

  1.  1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans
  2. 4 cups cold water
  3. 1 cup heavy cream ( or whipping cream
  4.  2 tablespoons caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  5.  1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  6.  1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7.  Ice cubes
  8. Additional salted caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)

How to Make Cold Brew Coffee:

  1. Make the cold brew In a large mason jar or pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee beans and cold water.
  2. Stir to make sure all the coffee grounds are wet.
  3. Cover and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours.
  4. After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine-mesh sieve or a coffee filter to remove the grounds. You now have cold brew concentrate.

Make the Salted Caramel Cream:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, caramel sauce, sea salt, and vanilla extract. 
  2. Use a hand mixer, a whisk or handheld milk frother (electric frother) to whip the mixture until it forms soft peaks. This should take about 2-3 minutes to froth the cream.

How to Make This Recipe:

  1. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the cold brew concentrate over the ice, filling the glass about 3/4 full. 
  3. Top with a generous dollop of the salted caramel cream over the top of the coffee. 
  4. Drizzle additional caramel sauce on top if desired.
