Philly Cheesesteak Tortellini Pasta Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12 oz) cheese tortellini: Tortellini filled with rich and creamy cheese that serves as the foundation of this satisfying pasta. This will make the dish filling turning a snack into the main dish.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil: Pan-sauté the vegetables and beef – providing a whisper of richness.
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced: A fresh — and slightly sweet — crunch to offset the fattiness of the beef and the cheeses.
  • Two cups sliced mushrooms: Offers an earthy and umami depth to the dish.
  • 1 large sliced yellow onion: This will add sweetness and depth of flavor to the dish and play against the beef and cheese’s hearty, savory base flavors.
  • 1lb thinly sliced beef steak: The protein in this dish is the star, providing tender, rich bites that closely mimic the Philly Cheesesteak. You can also substitute this ribeye or roast beef. Just be sure to cut them into thin, even strips.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt: Because cooking is all about seasoning …be sure to add your seasonings to taste!
  • 1/4 tsp pepper: This is slightly spicy but also brings warmth, the latter of which works wonders with the mushrooms.
  • 1 cup beef broth: Makes the sauce silky and fat-rich, fortifying the noodles with meat juice.
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce: Adds an extra kick of flavor without being overbearing.
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese: This cheese melts beautifully and tastes absoulty amazing with other flavors
