Flat White Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of espresso (about 1 oz)
  • 6 oz of steamed milk 

Flat White Coffee Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Espresso: Brew a shot of espresso using your espresso machine. If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can use a strong coffee made with an Aeropress or Moka pot.
  2. Steam the Milk: Heat the milk and use a steam wand to create a microfoam. The goal is to have a smooth, velvety texture with tiny bubbles. If you don’t have a steam wand, you can heat the milk on the stovetop and froth the milk using a milk frother or a whisk. 
  3. Combine: Pour the milk over the espresso shot, holding back the foam with a spoon. Once you’ve poured most of the milk, you can add the foam on top to finish
