Chai Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of whole milk (or any milk alternative like almond milk or oat milk)
- 2 black tea bags
- 1-2 tablespoons of honey or sugar (optional)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 whole cloves
- 2-3 cardamom pods
- A small piece of fresh ginger (sliced)
- A pinch of black pepper
Chai Latte Recipe Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, bring the water, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, ginger, and black peppercorns to a boil. to make the chai spice
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes to let the spices infuse.
- Brew the tea by adding the tea bags and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Use whole milk and honey or sugar, and heat until just about to boil. if you want you can froth or steam milk and put it on to.
- Remove from heat, strain the mixture into a cup.
- Add in any extra sweetener you love to make it taste just how you like it.
